I reported this to my mom and my son, Tadhg Kelly, a short while later, saying, "Things always come in threes. I can't wait to hear more good news from a friend."
Alexis Sun
In less than 24 hours, I had my third piece of good news. I received an email from long-time BFF, May Sun, who wrote:
Alexis starred and produced a short film (written by one of the actors), they submitted to Cannes Festival and film was accepted! Quite incredible! Alexis and her 2 fellow actors will attend the festival which is perfectly timed with my visit to Nice with friends.
I am so thrilled for Alexis, whom I have known since before she dove into a pool of cherry jello at age six months at my son, Cristian Kelly's, first birthday party. She always was a special girl! Good on ya, Lexi.
You can congratulate her on her FB page: Alexis Sun.
Marta, I too share in the happiness when a friend or colleague celebrates an accomplishment. What joy!
ReplyDeleteIt is SUCH joy!
DeleteI love good news!! Congratulations to Alexis and May!! When is Tadhg's film being released? I can't wait to see it! Keep writing Marta!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Cindy the T
Don't know yet when Silver Falls will be released. Stay tuned, Cindy. In fact, it will be my next blog post IF I can get His Tadhgness to give me some deets. Mom-- always the last to know.
DeleteGood blog new, Marta. Very exciting. By the way, just looked at your "About Me" paragraph. Just thought I'd mention that I'm a fellow chocoholic.
ReplyDeleteChocoholics, unite! I just created a Facebook page, "Chocolate". I cannot believe it didn't exist before me. There must be some kind of mix-up, but if you feel the urge, feel free to "like" my Chocolate page.
DeleteAnother threesome...of chocoholics, that is. I actually managed to eat only a portion of a chocolate bar today. The remaining two pieces are in my purse SCREAMING for me to eat them! ;-)
ReplyDeleteSee my above comment and know that I can hardly ever ignore the loud screams coming from my secret chocolate stash places. The only good news is, sometimes, don't ask me why, I can't remember where I hid my brown stuff.
Delete60 Minutes did an EXCELLENT exposé on sugar recently. I taped it and have watched it twice so far, trying to get the thinking part of my brain to override the addicted, dopamine-hungry part of my brain. GOOD LUCK to ME.
